INTRODUCTION
Consumption is man’s bane. Playing an integral part of his makeup, humans are almost always inclined to want to consume. Be it tangible substance, or evem the intangibles. These said “intangibles” are what we take but might not necessarily have a definitive form and tangible shape. This intangibles are what we classify as content.
The world as we see it now is driven by the continuous flow of content from one location to another. It’s more like a movement from point of creation to the point of consumption. Content might range from text property files, media files such as audio and video files. Everyone loves good things, hence, we are usually attracted to content of greater quality and presentation. Thus, it is only normal for us to see a rush towards better looking content or one with even better packaging. This is only the aesthetic – loving side of our brains leading us on.

THE STATE OF THE CONTENT INDUSTRY AND ALREADY ESTABLISHED PLATFORMS
To satisfy the whims of consumers like you and I, we have a content industry responsible for churning out the content that we so desire and love. The current and most popular system of content setup in the industry is the Premium Content system. In this setup, content is usually paid for by consumers through a form of subscription of some sorts. However splendid this might want to sound, there however exists lots of problems and loopholes with this current system of operation by the industry.
First problem would be the obvious monopolization of the industry by these acclaimed established platform owners. Due to a rather unfortunate streamlining of technology usage, the platform ownership sector has been reduced to a very minute pie, amounting to gross monopolization of the sector by the very few who happened to still hold their heads high within the sector. We are all aware of the enormous amount of data being created on these platforms, however, these platforms have resolved to keep all this data to themselves, not caring to release some of it to the team of persons responsible for the creation of the various content that they put out on their platforms. Obviously, with this data in the hands of the creators, we could be getting much better content from their stables. However that is going to happen as these platforms have chosen to hoard the data.
Also sad is the fact that they do not care to use this data (clearly generated by the activities of the content consumers) to enrich the consumers themselves. Rather, they prefer to indulge in self-enrichment, becoming multi- billion dollar corporations with no additional benefits to the creators nor the consumers of content. This is highly unacceptable!

THE WAY OUT BEING OFFERED BY CONTENTS PROTOCOL
Having observed all the happenings of the content industry, a team of brilliant minds have decided to come together to bell the cat and liberate the industry from this web of entanglement placed upon all by these monopolistic platform establishments.
This is because they have watched the various attempts by the creators themselves to start up their own platforms. But of course, Rome can’t be built in one day, neither can it be done by one man with barely enough resources. For those creators who have struggled to try to put together a platform, the resulting situation is us having adulterated and watered down content from these new platforms. This is because having expended almost all resources in procuring the necessary technology needed to set up these platforms, there’s barely any resource left to boost the main content creation process, and this has led to poor quality content. And of course, it has the consumers running back to those big platforms for our content again as we’d always follow the trail of good and quality content.
Contents Protocol is offering to solve all these problems by proposing a system that would reward all parties involved, from the creators of content down to even the consumers of content. This is because everyone on the chain all play significant roles within the industry. Using a blockchain integration algorithm, Contents Protocol brings in the superior technology to enhance the quality of service that can be offered within the industry.
Also, the data being generated by the consumers within the Contents Protocol Platforms would not be hoarded but made available to the creators of the content to enable them create even much better content.

THE UNIQUE MAKEUP OF THE CONTENTS PROTOCOL PLATFORM
The Contents Protocol Platform can be said to consist of three significant aspects viz: The Participants, the Data generated on the platform, and the Ecosystem.

The Participants of the Platform
The participants would simply be referring to the consumers, the content developers and the review generation platforms. The Consumers would be content – loving persons like you and I who would come to the platform to enjoy the content being generated as well as leave behind data generated by either their activities, inactions or conscious moves by them. The content Developers generate and create the content, while the review platform provide reviews and rating systems for the content being provided on the platform.

The Data on the Platform
Within the platform, we have metadata, user consuming data as well as review data. The metadata would be data that are associated with content and usually gives further information about the said content, while consuming data tells us more of the consumer behaviours while consuming content. The aggregator review data is the data generated from reviews carried out by the consumers on content they have interacted with.

THE CONTENTS PROTOCOL TOKEN
The token system employed by the platform involves two types of tokens which play specific and general roles on the platform. They are the CPT and the CP Power. These have equivalencies and help in ensuring that liquidity within the platform is maintained.

CONCLUSION
We can’t stop loving our content, but we sure deserve much better content. And we also deserve to be treated better as both consumers and developers. It is on this train that the Contents Protocol Platform rides into town with one of the best solution model we have come across. It is thus why we grab this vision with both arms without any hesitation whatsoever.
