Preparing the house
Today we have been preparing the house.
We are moving this week. But before we start moving we need to prepare the house. First things first is installing some mini blinds. That way people can not see what we are inside our house as we move over a few days. We plan to start sleeping here by Saturday or Sunday night.
We also are doing the caulking around the shower surround and tub
We put some caulking around the tub and shower surround. Once it sets we will be adding caulking tape. Normally you would use one or thr other. But there was some shotty stuff done and we want to make sure we will not to have to ever worry about it.
I love caulking tape
It gives you a professional look even if you are not good at caulking. Very easy to use. But one of the things I really love for the tub is the splash guards you can get for them. Holds the shower curtain in place and keeps water from getting out and onto the floor.
I have also moved a few boxes already.
A box of bathroom hygeine items and two boxes of food. I know we will not eat in the next week.
Can not wait to be fully moved in
I can not wait to start cooking in my new kitchen. Or to have my time freed up so I can start my other projects.

It's all coming together. I am moving the last big load of stuff. One shelf and one dresser to go. Did a truck full of boxes this morning. Seems like i have 'so little' i feel like i am a minimalist.... but why so many loads full of stuff!! Haha 😁 oh the joy of moving. Hope you have lots of help for tge job!
