Quakers comply to Quakerism.

The point is to only be free from everything, except one thing.

If not free from politics and government, you must have a social cause to fight for.
If you do not have a social cause to fight for, you must join a religion.
If you do not join a religion, you must join a political movement.

If nothing else, you must simply obey social norms and get a job.

You cannot be free.

You must comply.
