The Government Tells Lies
From where I stand we only have to do a little research in to "conspiracy theories" before we find evidence that simply can not be denied by any person with any sense.
The link to the clip below put rest to any doubts I may have had about whether or not the moon landing was faked.
Why I Took A Step Back
At one time in my life I was obsessed with the 911 "conspiracy" and other "theories" (facts?), and to put it plainly, it was bad for my mental health.
I felt bad, disgusted, saddened, angry and powerless.
The Ultimate Truth And The Search For Freedom
It seems that in light of the truth about the shocking and tragic tactics used by those in power, it provoked the exact feelings that those in power attempt to provoke in order to try and keep us asleep, locked in the internal prison of our primitive nervous systems, animalistic, reactive, addicted and unconscious.
Life events saw to it that I investigate what it is to be human, what it is to be conscious.
Power
I learned something interesting about "power"
People with the need for power and control have at the root of this desire a deep seated belief that they are a completely worthless looser.
All the presidents and prime ministers that hold this illusion of power and the drive to implicate it, have at the core of their being a belief that that they are a little boy or girl who doesn't feel loved enough. 
Freedom
Perhaps recognizing the freedom inherent in the natural state of consciousness is where we should be looking to find freedom.
