Ex-Clinton DS Agent Found Dead, Kurt Smolek Worked Under Hillary's State Department
A former diplomatic security special agent, Kurt Smolek, who worked under both Hillary Clinton and Condoleezza Rice's State Departments, has been found dead this week in the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. Local authorities are working with the Diplomatic Security Agency in investigating the case, they claim there is no foul play involved in the death although a full autopsy has not yet been completed.
Smolek's role as part of the DS Bureau would have made him responsible for protecting Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State, and for carrying out the departments 'foreign policy missions'. Smolek also worked on a Cambodia 2016 Crime & Safety Report which highlighted the massive issue of human trafficking in the country and their government's inability, or unwillingness, to stop it.
It is also notable that the Diplomatic Security Bureau, for which Smolek worked, is tasked with addressing visa and passport fraud. This could be significant, considering the similarly mysterious death of Beranton Whisenant, a federal prosecutor also specializing in passport fraud who was found dead in May of this year on a Hollywood beach, his body was recovered in the district of Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Schultz is currently coming under fire for her role in helping Pakistani-born Imran Awan and his brothers while under investigation for fraud, suspected theft, blackmail and a number of other charges. Imran was arrested after trying to flee the country with nearly $300 000 dollars, and faces fraud counts that could implicate other Democrats. While it is unknown if they were connected to the Awan case, given this information, some may speculate that before their deaths either Smolek or Whisenant may have had evidence of passport or visa fraud which may have further exposed this wider scandal.
