What about notable "conspiracies" of the past... meaning horrible shit that really happened but which the passive public was NOT told the truth about?

I can't imagine that American newspapers of the 1800's carried daily death tolls on the Indian genocide.

We know news of the WWII concentration camps and the genocide there were totally suppressed. (The same applies when it comes to hearing the truth about Gaza & Palestine today.)

All the post-9-11 invasions of Iraq, Syria and Libya, etc. - and our build-up
of Al Queada were framed by the media as wars of liberation rather then wars of invasion.

Obviously, we know about the standard ones, like the Mosaddegh assassination in Iran, the 80+ CIA election interferences, coups & assassinations around the world, JFK, MLK, RFK, Gulf of Tonkin, 9-11, etc, etc... but what lesser-known disinformation campaigns supported by mainstream media and our government can you think of?

A huge conspiracy was US & British business investment support for Hitler and the Nazis... from the likes of both Prescott Bush and Herbert Walker, the Harriman Bros., not to mention Henry Ford, the Rockefellers and Standard Oil and IBM’s Watson…as well as all the fucking royal families of Europe. How many people know about THAT?
