It is so sad what happened for all those who lost their coins. But, it was necessary to get some form of regulation in the crypto-space. Without this the regulation wouldn't be there. And loads of more people would still be in jeopardy...
It's sad, but these people saved future people...
Yes, indeed some regulations are needed to regulate cryptocurrency. Because it's high volatility can cause some serious damage for some novice investors.
