That's a wonderful story. I earnestly hope the government doesn't still want it "gone." I believe "they" would end it if it was not so long ago.

Reading some of the words from people who still live in the Philippines, I have decided to wait a few more years before going there with my family. I would have no problem going on my own, but would really like to take my children. So they can learn about what their grandfather did there a long time ago :)
