RE: 'Spontaneous' protests errupt in Iran. The US and UK warn about human rights and the 'regime'. Sure signs of an attempt to overthrow the government of Iran (again).

Thanks for the reply. I have no doubt that there are a lot of Iranians who dislike the current government (i despise my own) but when western governments along with their propaganda mouthpieces such as the BBC, CNN, FOX News and the rest are constantly pushing the idea that the Iranian people deserve 'democracy' and should be allowed to protest peacefully while at the same time completely ignoring the plight of people in places such as Bahrain or Saudi Arabia where people are being executed for protesting, excuse me for having my doubts. My doubts also come from the fact that we saw similar events in other countries such as Ukraine, Syria and Libya and there is evidence to suggest that these events were also helped along by certain intelligence agencies.
If you are an Iranian citizen and you are out on the streets carrying weapons or setting fire to public buildings why should you be treated any differently than a person who did the same in the United States or United Kingdom? I know what would happen if I tried to kill a police officer or steal guns from a police station. My government certainly wouldn't be calling for restraint and labelling me a peaceful protester for democracy.

this comment is very true and just.
criticizing a government is a right, but riot is a crime in every single corner of the world.

Iran's recipe for better future, freedom and democracy, is consistent and sustainable improvements, not another chaos and revolution

I think we should support the uprisings in middle-east whether they are against US allies or Russian allies because the public of almost the all countries of middle east dislike their own governments. Super powers are protecting their criminal allies for their own benefits but support uprisings against their enemies. They are all evil and millions of people have been killed by them. The revolutionists are not powerful so they sometime get help from other countries but their mistake is not big than the crimes of their governments. We should realize it!

I agree. Government/State is the problem and while people keep believing that a system that is deliberately broken so that it favours that rich and powerful can be made better through voting, or replacing one corrupt leader with another nothing will change. All governments/states are corrupt and the system has been built this way so that people believe they have power when in fact they have none. Unfortunately but not surprisingly the state ensures that the education they provide for free to thier citizens is of the lowest quality and will only produce people who will continue to serve the system/state without question.

Of course, state is deceiving the people, but the fact is that they don't know the reality of this system.
