Chem-trails or Con-trails? You Decide!
The sky tonight looked like it was getting ready to play many large games of Tic-Tac-Toe.
Have you ever heard of Chem-Trails?
How about Con-Trails?
Do you know the difference?
Do you care to know the difference, if there is one?
Apparently, you do if you are reading this post.
I was first introduced to the idea of Chem-Trails whilst listening to the infamous Alex Jones' podcast back in 2008. His podcast, known as Infowars, is an international talk show about all things conspiracy.
I was drawn to his podcast because my eyes had been opened to the perilous economic conditions that the world was facing and I wanted to be as prepared to survive the Zombie Apocalypse as possible. The more I learned and researched, the more I realized the rabbit hole went very deep. Very, very deep. Too deep.
I remember the con-trails, or condensation trails, from when I was a kid. They would only "trail" the plane or jet for a little space and then dissipate rather quickly into the atmosphere.
The "trails" that I've see over the past decade don't follow the same protocol. Now, they follow the paths of the airplanes for miles and their exhaust clouds linger for hours, checkering the skies with their plumes.
Some, like Alex Jones, have claimed that the governments of the world are seeding the sky with various Chemicals, hence the name "Chem" trails.
Now, I'm not going to claim to know what is going on or even what is in the trails that are left behind. All I know is that they are different than when I was a kid.
What do you think? Are my suspicious inquiries founded? Or did I spend too much time in the rabbit hole with Mr. Jones?

Yes, I think it's a chemical trail if you mean left over CO, CO2, and all the other crazy emissions that come from burning jet fuel. If we're talking the government here, the EPA should be trailing behind every jet, pull them over and give them a fine for leaving too much of a carbon blueprint!
The evidence for chemtrails is nonexistent. Contrails are the result of established science. If you'll pardon this guy's cherry-picked sound bites, condescension, and profanity, he does offer a fairly concise and comprehensive overview of the subject.
I just haven't seen any compelling evidence to support the assertion that contrails contain any specific toxic chemicals beyond the usual results of hydrocarbon combustion, and burden of proof matters.
When you were a kid the contrails would have been primarily been made by the wingtip vortices, [the swirling air off the end of the wing].
Most of the aircraft would have been prop driven. in the correct conditions, they could stay there for hours.
There was an infamous deliberate drawing of male genitalia that was done probably before your time.
3 hours later they flew a squadron of aircraft through it to try and break it up.
Today's aircraft fly higher, where there is less wind to break things up, faster, which creates more wingtip trails, and are jet-powered, which also causes trails due to the hot exhaust gasses hitting the very cold upper air.

I know there are chem trails and I know how to tell the difference between chem and con. I watched four jets fly over in ND, all parallel to each other, each leaving a thick trail hanging in the air, then I watched as over s few hour period each of those trails slowly expanded til they were touching each other til they formed a thin blanket that stretched as far as I could see east to west. Got any old home videos from your parents or grandparents @bluerthangreen? Go watch some and see if you can spot the chem trails in them. I found some from my grandpa in the mid 90's in Michigan.

In central Wisconsin last summer we saw three high flying aircraft following each other on parallel paths. One by one they starting leaving wide lingering trails. When the first aircraft reach a certain point, it's wide trail stopped and a normal high flying jet trail appeared. This new trail was very short and dissipated quickly. When the second and third jets reached the same approximate point as the first jet, their wide lingering trails stopped and were replaced by normal short-lived jet trails. As the three jets continued westward with short trails, their lingering trails had expanded to almost touching one another. We were on a curvy road that had us looking at these trails from different directions. The real strange thing was that each jet started it's wide lingering trail at the same point in the sky and stopped them at the same point. We could see the beginning and end of each of the three wide trails across the expanse of the sky. Something was going on.
Sounds alot like what I saw in ND, but I couldn't see where they started and stopped.
Not a fan of Alex Jones but chem trials there is a lot of evidence for. Also when you see four planes flying in a line with trails coming out something is up!
