Have you heard of the mandela effect?

Many believe the Mandela effect is just a distorted memory malfunction due to the brains archaic ability to actually take in the information around it with 100% accuracy, a false memory created by the brain to fill in the gaps but in any case a large percentage of the population are having conflicting memories when recollecting trivial details from notable popular culture, movie quotes, big branding on products or religious texts. People who have experienced the Mandela Effect will insist their recollections are correct, showing dissonance after being proven the record shows otherwise.

Ever heard the classic song California Dreamin? A great example of the Mandela Effect in action is shown in the lyrics of the song when the writer speaks about stopping at a church along the way traveling.

The Song California Dreaming was written by Jon Phillips and Michelle Phillips in that what feels like light years in the past (1966), in 2017 you can still hear the lyrics sung in unison by the collection of a packed backpackers pub in Australia.

“Well I got down on my knees (got down on my knees) and I began to pray (and I began to pray).”

Many people will remember the lyrics like this, but many people also remember an alternate version which feels un-natural and confusing when realised by victims of the Mandela Effect.

“Well I got down on my knees (got down on my knees) and I pretend to pray (and I pretend to pray).”

Trippy, I know. Conspiracy theorists are claiming mad scientists working with CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research) experiments have caused the world to shift into an alternate reality .

The Mandela effect has also changed the name of your favorite breakfast cereal, yes its true and Nelson Mandela died in prison but how did CERN get wrapped up in this maylay? Why are scientists quantum computing in Sweden and France to blame? Well it doesn’t help when D-Wave/ Quantum physics experts will elude it’s possible to complete physical computing tasks between parallel universes.

Whether the origins of the Mandela Effect Phenomena are based in CERN, in the pathways of the human mind, or based in the paranormal it is yet to be confirmed.
