As everyone knows, oil comes from dinosaurs. I remember as a kid seeing some kind of ‘public service’ spot explaining how dinosaurs “gave their all” so that we could one day have oil.

A lot of people think like that but unfortunately it's not true, it was hyped by the paleontologically illiterate people here and there just like you know many people really believe the Earth's axis tilts million years.
