Prior to the 1989 Fire Arms Protection Act that effectively banned Machine Guns, Government Agencies (ATF, FBI, And Justice Department) were maliciously prosecuting Federally Licensed Firearms dealers in an attempt to circumvent violating the second amendment but with the goal of preventing people from being able to buy guns. The malicious prosecutions didn’t violate the Amendment but this law most certainly did. If we repeal the law based on an unconstitutional infringement claim, citing the 2008 and 2010 Supreme Court Opinions which upheld the Ownership of any Gun as an individual’s “Right”, then we risk going back to a system of malicious prosecution of dealers nationwide, closing down the stores and small manufacturers have no customers.

If we add semiautomatic weapons to the list of highly controlled Automatic weapons we risk the law being challenged as unconstitutional and ending up where we started anyway.

We’re damned if we do an damned if we do the other thing. The only solution is to maintain the status quo.

The act of 1989 was a compromise that was made to protect gun dealers from malicious prosecutions by the Justice Department not to protect the individual’s right to bear arms. The compromise they gave away was to restrict people from acquiring military grade weapons Ie. Machine Guns And grenades, and declaring that Semi-Automatic rifles are not considered military grade weapons.

This compromise has come under Fire lately; as tragedy after tragedy of people and our children sitting undefended in our schools are being murdered by deranged psychopaths. The latest one being in Parkland Florida where 17 people were murdered by a 19 year old former student who was allowed by the FBI and the Broward Sheriff’s Department to commit this heinous act. They had the notifications, warnings and opportunities to legally prevent this psycho from killing those people.

The media continues to play on the sympathies of people, enflaming opinions by blaming the availability of semiautomatic guns and on guns in general rather than holding the agencies accountable; agencies who are charged with protecting us; while suppressing reports about other events where heroic armed citizens prevented mass casualties with their own guns. This clearly shows an agenda by our government and the media to flatly disarm people by vilifying non-military grade semiautomatic rifles, conflating them as all being military grade.

I’m guilty of succumbing to this mantra as well, where, in my previous blog post concerning this I actually suggested it myself. My heart strings were initially tugged to support the Idea, thus showing me the effectiveness of the latest media and superstar supported campaign.

After doing a little bit of research it is clear to me that a government agency sponsored agenda was nefariously created by progressive politicians and progressive leaning career employees; An agenda to “flat out” disarm the people is definitely in play.

If we allow them and the media to make the case that semiautomatic rifles are military grade weapons then what’s next? And there will be a next.

Soon after the act was signed by Ronald Reagan in 1989 a Book was written: “Behold a pale horse” by Milton William Cooper, (see meme below)which alleges to outline a CIA plot to do exactly what we have been seeing since then Senator Joe Biden, who would later become Vice President, sponsored the creation of gun free zones back in 1990; (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun-Free_School_Zones_Act_of_1990 ), to make our Schools “Gun Free Zones” But has resulted in allowing psychopaths to illegally but freely enter our schools to kill as many people as they can until local “First Responders” respond from miles away. The Idea of the First Responder was also created around the same time and “was born out the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. It was coined for very good reasons, but has now outlived its usefulness”. I will add... that much of the book, Pale Horse, reads like insanity; yet, here we are, living it and observing exactly what he wrote would happen.

In conclusion I rescind my previous opinion and call upon every freedom loving person to peacefully protest at his local FBI office with pickets demanding accountability for the failure of its agents to arrest Nicholas Cruz for his online threats he made previously on YouTube. And demanding accountability of those Sheriff’s deputies who failed him 39 times.

They must come to realize that the people are aware of their false flag agenda aimed at turning everyone into defenseless people subject to rogue elements and dependent on traitors and tyrants for their safety.

Here is a prime example of why the framers included the 2nd Amendment:

Short on sponsorship for rebellion? Then use the mere presence of bearing arms to intimidate the bully tyrants thus leveling the playing field to simply protest in peace.

I also rescind my previous opinion, that the Supreme Court erred in its judgement in 2008 And 2010 that individuals do have a right to bear arms outside of service in a militia.

I believe in God And therefore the supernatural exists. I believe that there are nefarious forces at work with a bigger agenda in store for us.

A February 1982 report by a senate judiciary subcommittee said that 75 percent of ATF prosecutions I"were aimed at ordinary citizens who had neither criminal intent nor knowledge, but were enticed by agents into unknowing technical violations." It suggested that reform of federal firearms law such as proposed in S. 1030 "would be largely self-enforcing" and "would enhance vital protection of constitutional and civil liberties of those Americans who choose to exercise their Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms."

The Firearm Owners Protection Act of 1986 (FOPA) addressed the abuses noted in the 1982 Senate Judiciary Subcommittee report. Among the reforms intended to loosen restrictions on gun sales were the reopening of interstate sales of long guns on a limited basis, legalization of ammunition shipments through the U.S. Postal Service (a partial repeal of the Gun Control Act), removal of the requirement for record keeping on sales of non-armor-piercing ammunition, and federal protection of transportation of firearms through states where possession of those firearms would otherwise be illegal. However, the Act also contained a provision that banned the sale of machine guns manufactured after the date of enactment to civilians, restricting sales of these weapons to the military and law enforcement.

The “gun rights” movement lobbied Congress to pass the FOPA to prevent the abuse of regulatory power — in particular, to address claims that the ATF was repeatedly inspecting FFL holders for the apparent purpose of harassment intended to drive the FFL holders out of business (as the FFL holders would constantly be having to tend to ATF inspections instead of to customers). [Passed in 1989].

The Act mandated that ATF compliance inspections can be done only once per year. An exception to the "once per year" rule exists if multiple record-keeping violations are recorded in an inspection, in which case the ATF may do a follow-up inspection. The main reason for a follow-up inspection would be if guns could not be accounted for.
