We Can Only Control The Process

In the end, we can only control the process, but we cannot control the outcome. This is a paraphrase of one of the most famous religious quotes, that we are only entitled to our labor but not the fruits of our labor.

It is something I wished I had considered when I was much younger. It would have probably made me a harder worker and not be preoccupied with the results so much and the results will come on their own.

The conscious universe

I've been watching a few talks about the conscious universe and it is a theory that resonates with me. In summary, and I hope I'm able to do this complex theory justice, is that ultimately, the sun, the planets, the rocks, the mountains, the ocean, the sea, humans, animals, insects - we are all products of the universe. And the universe can be thought of as one conscious being.

So then does the universe's mood and expectations impact all of us or do our collective emotions have an impact on the universe? These are some complex questions to consider and ones that I am still thinking about.

The crypto markets

Similarly, all we can do is continue to stack in these sideways markets. We're going to break either way eventually and while I hope it is to the upside, it could very well be to the downside instead. No one really knows and if they tell you otherwise, they're probably lying.

We've lost our momentum because Elon threw his rattle out of the pram and China decided to go after coal power plants and Bitcoin miners? Does that even make sense?

We're about 40% down from the highs and what that means is that some folks have taken $1 Trillion worth of profits. To put that in perspective, that's like the GDP of Indonesia or the Netherlands.

Where does this money go? It could be stashed for a while but it will eventually make its way back into the system. So we could be in a crypto 'winter' till that happens.

What can we do then? If we believe that crypto will still be around, then stacking is probably the best way to go. If you think that crypto is going to implode and vanish, then get out quickly at the top now.

As I said, no one really knows so you can only do what makes sense for you.

Crazy Market Caps

On that note, I was just looking at communities and crypto prices. One community that reminds me a lot of Doge is Banano. It is a meme coin but you 'mine' it by folding proteins and contributing to science and medical research.

Anyway, the coin is sitting at around 2c and if it were to go to Doge's market cap, it would be valued at around $30. That's a 1500x increase. Could it happen? Maybe.

But what's the difference between the 2 coins? The only one that affects the price is who is shilling it.

In a long roundabout way I guess what i'm trying to say is that we have very little effect on the big world around us. We can only focus on ourselves.
