There is definitely a soul inside that is who we really are. It is that souls which has the thoughts and feels the emotions as it lives out experiences from within this physical body. I do not believe that we are bodies with a soul, but rather souls with a body, for now...
Thanks for responding! I agree. I like to discuss this topic, because think there is a fundamental flaw in scientific reasoning today. It's what Graham Hancock calls materialistic reductionist science. The view is that consciousness is generated by the brain. The truth is the other way around. Your brain acts more like tv that is receiving the signal of consciousness.
That gets into my post, kind of, that there are probably 4+Dimensions. But our science is based on the physical structure of the universe and therefore limitations of our three dimensions. How could you scientifically investigate the source of the soul, if it resides in one of these higher dimensions, if it is physically impossible do to the structure of the known universe?
