Connect Your Poloniex Account To Tab Trader For Android

By now you have registered and funded your Poloniex account.

You will quickly notice that trading on Poloniex on via your mobile phone browser can be quite slow and annoying.

Most times you can only view one currency pair at a time, except where you open multiple page to view different pairs. As i said above, slow and cumbersome.

Well fear not, today I will be showing you an app you can use to trade your Poloniex account via your mobile phone.

Tab Trader is a trading app that allows you to trade your Crypto Currency on your mobile phone with ease.

It offers a graphic interface for seeing your Charts far better than on any Crypto Exchange. Plus it comes with a set of indicators you will not find on Poloniex.

I see you feeling happy already.

So head over to your play store and search for tab trader. Download and install it.

Once you have installed it, open it up and click the Watchlist option.

In the watch list click select Poloniex.

You will now be give the Instruments of crypto currency pairs to watch and trade on.

Search for and select the pairs you want, now tick them.

Once done click back to head back to watch list.

There you will see the Crypto currency pairs you selected. Open each to see how the pair have been performing.

How to trade with Tab Trader

Now that you have Tab Trader and can monitor the Currency pairs you like, it’s time to use Tab Trader to Trade.

You will need to connect your poloniex account to Tab Trader, to do do that, first head over to your Tab Trader account tab.

You will see a list of Exchanges, select Poloniex, you will now be presented with a place to put a Poloniex api and Secret Key.

For this you will need to get it on Poloniex, oh and don’t worry, i am going to show you a really easy way to do it, without having to copy the keys by hand.

Connecting your Poloniex Api and Secret Key to Tab Trader

Now head over to your Poloniex account.

If your using your mobile browser to login to your Poloniex, once your logged in switch the browser view from mobile to desktop via your browsers options.

Now click the spanner option on your Poloniex, its just beside the Orders tab. Scroll down and select API keys

Once the Api page opens you will be presented with the option of creating your first API Key.

Please Note: If you have 2 Factor Authentication enabled, you might have to go back and fore between you browser and your email address. As Poloniex will ask you to verify each step via your email.

Now that you have created your APi Key, you will have a page that looks like so

Copy your API key and click show beside the “Secret” to see the secret key.

You will notice you now have quite a large number of digits to copy, if you are on mobile you will also notice that each time you switch back and fore between your browser and tab trader, while trying to copy and paste your Key and Secret. You will need to restart the whole process of copying again.

Follow the process below to solve it.

First copy you API then go to google and look for a QR Code Generator

Pick anyone that allows you to generate QR Codes from text.

Now generate and download QR Codes for both your API and your Secret. Once both QR codes are downloaded, head over to your Tab Trader Account TAb.

Now Select Poloniex as your exchange, beside where it asks for your API key and secret, you will see Scan QR Code.

All you need to do is click the scan qr code and select your api key, do the same for your secret.

Conclusion

There you have it, your Polomiex Account is Now connected to your Tab Trader.

You can now buy and sell Cryptocurrency on your phone without having to be on Poloniex every time.

Oh i forgot one very important thing, Please remember to select trading only for the api key you create.
