Congress Sucks, but we need more congressmen

If you believe in representative democracy then this is an idea you should get behind. To me, I'm not so convinced in the whole idea. However, if you are then more representatives = better.

The first congress members represented about 60,000 people. Today a member of congress represents nearly 1,000,000 people!

That's a lot of concentrated power. To get back to the 60k/rep number we'd need about 5,000 members of congress. Sounds like an improvement to me.
