Florida Georgia Line, Backstreet Boys and Nelly at Wrigley Field Last Night!

Last night I saw the best concert I have ever seen! Initially, when my girlfriend told me that she got us tickets to the show I was not that exited. Granted, any concert in Wrigley Field, home of the World Champion Chicago Cubs, is fantastic.

42,000 people were packed into Wrigley Field. There were about 5 girls to every one guy in the stadium. My girlfriend, Brittany, and her friends were acting like they were going to see Elvis in the 60's.

Nelly was the first to take the stage and the crowd erupted. Although he is from St. Louis and a diehard Cardinals fan, Nelly and his crew wore Cubs hats which was cool. He did all of his hits and the place was jumping, literally. But as his set ended, we were all wondering why he didn't perform "Hot in Here?" More to come on that later!

The anticipation was building as the Backstreet Boys were next up. The sun had set and just as it became dark inside Wrigley, fireworks shot out from the bleacher section and the 5 guys busted out on stage. I've never seen +30,000 women scream and dance so much. The BSB were great and put on an awesome show. I had to admit that it was fun as hell. But like Nelly, the fans were all wondering why BSB didn't play their smash hit "Everybody." More to come on that soon.

Florida Georgia Line closed out the night with a heck of a performance. They had everyone singing along as they played hit after hit after hit. They drank some whiskey on stage, had their wives up for a song, and killed it at Wrigley. As they ended their set, they thanked Chicago and ran off the stage, but we all hoped their was more to come....

All of a sudden, we started to hear a beat blasting on the speakers. The stage lit up and all of a sudden Nelly and his crew ran out in Cubs Jerseys and the music to "Hot in Here" was bumping! The place was going nuts! Then the Backstreet Boys joined them on stage, also in Cubs jerseys, and performed their smash hit "Everybody." As that song was coming to an end, the boys from Florida Georgia Line rushed on stage, also in Cubs jerseys. They belted out their first ever hit "Cruise" along with the entire stadium. It was dynamite. If this tour comes anywhere near your city, I highly recommend going! Cheers!
