Radical Reboot

I started a new job on the 5th. I am still working from home, but for a company that provides accounting services to health clubs. I am now off the job market and have extra time on my hands.

One of my plans is to explore using a Raspberry Pi that I reactivated, but there's a question of what to learn. One idea is to turn it into a web server; an activist group may be interested in self-hosting. A second idea is to turn the Pi into a Mastodon server. A police watchdog group could find a self-contained social network useful.

A third idea is to set up a TOR relay. As America looks like it will creep further towards some sort of theocracy, activists in some communities may look to communicate away from the eyes of the state. I researched this option and it looks simple. Creating a TOR proxy server could be another way that TOR could assist an American Underground.

A final idea is if an older Pi can't be configured to act as an ad blocker. I would take the more recent Pi and run the blocker on that. Then it's a matter of what to do with the older one. Maybe use that for a C64 emulator?
