How far away is practical quantum computing? 25 years? 100 years? When will someone be able to buy a "desktop quantum computer"? Will it make hacking easier? Will new quantum cryptos arise? Will quantum computers be able to break current crypto algorithms? Scary thoughts...
Even more scary is; does anyone have this ability already and isn't telling us?
