That Old Laptop Running WindowsXP Saved My Hide!

I've kept this 20 year-old laptop even though I was tempted to recycle it many times. I was going through some specialized lab software to get some unpublished data for a Steemit post, but it required XP or Windows 2000.

I was able to install my copy of a 2002 version of that special software on the laptop! Now, through my LAN and the cloud, I have access to many years af raw real-time PCR data.

I also found some old files that I thought were gone for sure...It's kinda exciting!

Stay tuned: I plan to post some really useful unpublished data and practical experience with PCR.
