The GTX 1060 although on the lower end of the series is still a very powerful card. You will find that you can play almost everything out there today with pretty high graphics settings.
I would have to agree on that. The first thing I did before deciding was to check FPS benchmarks on AAA games at 1080p. Then when I already had it installed, I popped it's cherry with a MAX Setting "Rise of the Tomb Raider." I never regretted having chosen the GTX1060 as this is just about right for me.
I recently got a GTX 1080, unfortunately most of the games I play are un-optimized. (See H1Z1, PUBG, Star Citizen.) You and me are set for a while bud.
I'll give those a look. Steam Sale Incoming :)
GTX 1060 really rips through AAA games at 1080p. That's pretty much the sweet spot for that resolution this gen.
I would have to agree.. GTX 1060 is really sufficient for my needs. :)
