Laptop Motherboard

Laptop Motherboard is a Notebook Device that we will discuss this time. In a series of previous articles, I have discussed laptop batteries, Explanations, and Functions. Laptop motherboards or sometimes referred to as mainboard, system board, board on board (PCB) on modern computers that hold many important components, such as central processing unit (CPU) and memory, and provide connectors for other peripherals.

Before the microprocessor was built, the computer was usually built in a card-cage or mainframe casing with components connected by a backplane consisting of a set of slots with cables, in very old design discrete connection cables between pin card connectors, but printed circuit boards soon became standard practice. Laptop motherboards or main circuit boards in every laptop are not exactly like desktop PC system boards, laptop system boards come into the market in shape and size. Laptop motherboards are always tailored to the model specifications. In other words, you cannot remove the motherboard from Toshiba laptops and laptops.

3. Memory slot (RAM).
4. Battery connector.
5. Keyboard connector.

9. Port Ethernet (RJ45 aka network).
10. IEEE 1394 port (Fire Wire).
11. Video chip and some other components and ports.

Board systems, processors (CPUs) and LCD screens are the most expensive parts on any laptop. In some cases, when one of the three parts fails, it's cheaper to buy a brand new laptop from this damaged part. But every case is different so you have to do consideration.
