SSD is a must. At least for the files, you are working with a lot.
Then again, a lot of my post get draft in Google Docs because I work with multiple devices.

My issue is really the photos as i have tonnes of them and it takes a while to edit. Now with video its taking even longer
I learn to work with Google Photos because my photos are taken with phones.
Video is going to be a beast to keep. :-)
Even I try to take short ones as much as I can.
