For my perspective, it does not look like electric storm clouds, it looks like a map of mountainous terrain from above, even if it looks good, it looks like the one that appears in Games of Thrones, in the credits of the beginning.
An interesting review of the interpretation of the picture. It is a pleasure to read various reviews on paintings.
