Took a walk along the Jordan River

I got to walk along the Jordan river in Utah and was reminded about something I heard a while ago; that the Jordan river in Utah looks similar to the Jordan river in Palestine. I took these pictures as I thought about this and walked along the river.

To compare I found this image of the Jordan river in Palestine.

They do look pretty similar.

Interestingly enough, they both flow from a fresh water lake to a salt water lake.
