Faith (Earth Ranger) describing her Creative Name Tag at Steemit Action Summer Holiday Program (SASH-Program)

This video shows how 8 years old Mbuh Faith who is an Earth Ranger is describing her Creative Name Tag during the Steemit Action Summer Holiday Program.

The Steemit Action Summer Holiday Program started today Thursday 5th July 2018 at 10:00AM with 12 Earth Rangers (children) comprising of 04 girls and 08 boys answering present for the program.
Beginning with good music from Colby Jeffers (The Greens International Coordinator and Ambassador), the children listened in awe and inspiration to the song “Treasure” and this was followed by a moment of reflection and discussion during which the facilitators, Mr. Green (@dukefranky), Fon Thanian Shiri (@thanianshiri) and Tubuo Laura (@laurakiss) reminded the children that they are all treasure lamps that can light the world a make it a better place.
The Earth Rangers then had the opportunity to use the art supplies and make their creative name tags and it was really inspiring seeing how creative children were. For 45 minutes, the children had the opportunity to be creative. This was followed by self introduction and then a description of what they drew on their creative name tags.
Faith in her creative name tag drew flowers because flowers beautify the environment and she added apples in her creative name tag because apples are her best fruits and she likes eating apples. A wise man once said, “An apple a day, keeps the doctor away”
Ah ha, 12 children from diverse backgrounds got the opportunity to know each other and were ready to begin their journey as guardians of the Earth.
Self introductions were followed by some creative expressions which were mainly fun time and dancing. For 15 minutes, there was dancing and sharing of fun time stories. All these were to further awaken the creativity in the Earth Rangers.
Next, they had the opportunity to share their stories of what they like about the environment as well as the opportunity to draw one thing they admire about the environment.
Today, our objective of knowing one another was attained with the Earth Rangers creating some beautiful name tags. Tomorrow, we introduce the SASH Program and watch our first environmental movie, The Lorax by Dr Seuss.
