Setting goals as a Community and Making them happen.

Every community that has ever succeeded did so because of its members continuous individualistic efforts. I believe that is why Andrew Carnegie said

"Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results."

I believe the first step to building a successful community is building a solid bond of trust with one another. This type of trust I speak of is earned through one’s actions and not any other thing. It is said that actions speak louder than words. As an individual in a community carry on tasks given to them swiftly, they earn the trust and respect of other members in the community.

Now to setting goals

Of course, the community must make sure their objectives are agreed upon by all members. It is always best for people in communities to come forward with their thoughts on the agenda of their communities.

If say, one or two members do not agree completely with what has been assigned to them, a “crappy” job is going to be done on their part. All important issues must be agreed on before tasks are given.

"The best teamwork comes from men who are working independently toward one goal in unison." --James Cash Penney

Everyone in a community has to do something even the leaders. To sit by idly watching others to put in hard and later expect to have a share of the profit will be an insult and trust me, no one likes to be insulted. Everyone has his own unique strength and that if put to good use ensures success in great proportions. Even if it comes down to the washing of bowls after dinner, I am sure the man of the house (even though, did not part take in the meal preparation) can pitch in.

And to making those goals stick

Leaders of every community aside from performing other tasks must make sure to do regular follow ups on the work done by their team members.

This I believe will ensure a successive turn of events as members will be constantly reminded of their task (especially those who might be off track).
A regular quick phone call might or even a text message might do the trick. In the end, the goals of the community will be met and success will prevail. Some may argue the need for a backup plan( a plan B) but I believe in giving it your all in the first round to avoid distractions.

A big thank you to @dragonslayler109

This communitychallenge will do a lot for many of its participants in the long run. I personally have found myself thinking about things I never thought I would thanks to this project. I hope it goes far and may part-take in it to make our various communities (#ghana ,#nigeria ,#africaunited ,just to mention a few) feel lively and fun.
