Time Flies When You Ignore It

Today had to have been the most productive day I've ever had in this life time.
My son woke up at God/ess only knows when this morning trying to clean a write and wipe homework sheet his teacher made. The sound of the plastic lamination being scrubbed. I tried to ignore it but after a while I rolled over to check the time on my phone. 4:39!! Are you kidding? I hollered at him to turn off the light and go back to sleep. Yeah, not happening. I tried to go back to skeep myself in hopes he'd tire and follow suit. Twenty minutes later I gave up, grabbed my phone and decided to surf the internet.
I was so happy to have seven o'clock roll around. Twenty minutes after that I was driving him to school.
I got back home and lay down on my bed wondering if I was going to get anymore sleep while I weight lifted my phone surfing the internet and reading. Next thing I know I'm sweating (my room stays really warm year round because it gets lots of sun) under my sheet. I open my eyes and glance at the clock. It's sometime after eleven. I lay in bed for a little longer then decide to get up.
I looked outside my window and noticed my sister parked out front. I went out to talk to her husband to see if he saw any lights and what time that might have been. Neither him nor my sister noticed anything so we hung out for a bit before I headed out to check on a job prosoect then do some grocery shopping.
I got back home, put the groceries up and did a couple loads of laundry. With three people under one roof and my son going through his clothes fairly quickly it's a never ending job. I managed to get the first load hung before I went to pick him up at school. After we got back I took a break, let him go play, and did a little more reading then took the first load down and hung the second. I started dinner and went to pick my son up at his friends place. I got him ready for tomorrow then we settled into his bed and I read him to sleep.
I feel accomplished today. 😁😁😁
