Helping Community - 38 Days to Christmass
Hola the Steemian friends. Today, @celo769 and I done our part in helping and participating making Curry puff together with the Women League from St Theresa community. Last Friday @kilathecla called me up asking whether I'm interested in volunteering to help this community. I said why not since it's for religious event called Life in the Spirit Seminar which will be held on 21st to 23rd November, 2018. There will be about 300 participants expected to come to the event. Since this community is on tight budget, they decided to do a 'gotong-royong' or share-works in preparing food for the participants.
So, here we are preparing a frozen Curry Puff for Tea break during the event.
Its been a long time since I make this Curry Puff pastry. Luckily @kilathecla patiently be the Sifu for the day.
@celo769 and I are glad to join this gotong-royong with the ladies. This will be our part in contributing to the community before Christmass which is 38 days away. I always feel that Christmas is a time of giving and sharing with those around us, and sharing is not limited to those that we love and care for.
