For what I understood, you sponsored us with a Minnow Share, that will give us an Upvote for a period of a month or so.
After that period ends, the Minnow Share doesn't go away... and in time, if we get enough Minnow Shares, we can exchange them for an Upvote Share, which give us Upvotes forever.

That's right, the concept was designed so people who get a share from the @upvoteshare account to support themselves also get to sponsor a minnow without this having a big influence on their own return. For that reasons the @minnowshares account was created, and its upvote list will be refreshed somewhere around each month. If someone plans to get 1 share from the @upvoteshares account each new level and wants to help a minnow grow on Steemit he can give his sponsorship to the same minnow each time which adds up to that minnow getting a share in the @upvoteshares account that will continue to give daily upvotes.
All the numbers of the program are predetermined and can be ckecked and calculated at any given time.
