The Single Step Project To End Homelessness

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step"

That oft used trope is my own personal inspiration for a fundraiser to assist the homeless. In relaunching a failed project I had started in 2014, I am setting a personal goal of walking 1000 miles over 40 weeks in 2018 (to allow ample time for weather and other incidentals). The tentative finish will be October 1, but I will move that up or back based on my project. I am collecting pledges to finance this journey, and those pledges will be donated directly to Amarillo Housing First, a terrific organization working to place the homeless in permanent homes in the community of Amarillo.
