Citystarter is here to help you ‘build yourself a city’. You can use it to create or join a collaborative community centered around shared values.

Wherever a group of people with shared values can be found, a community can be built. Strong, tight knit, cohesive communities can be the basis for a more fulfilling life. We believe living in this type of community is an improvement over existing structures.

Starting from a core group of dedicated people, a successful community can grow in size and scope to become a major city. This process is so effective that the successes throughout history are still here, we call them countries. Unfortunately, most countries today do not have a peaceful and voluntary lineage. On top of that, the inefficient bureaucratic systems which govern most countries do not always provide us with the changes we want to see in our lives. With Citystarter we encourage the use of bottom up, self-organizing communities that allow people living together to voluntarily adapt, change or split based on their needs and abilities.

For ages, the development of communities was driven by the need for basic resources like food and water. Today we find ourselves in a special moment in human existence, economic trade has increased the access to knowledge, resources and technology. We also have a level of peaceful interaction that has never been seen before. We can seize this unique opportunity to form a myriad of different communities.
