Nice and refreshing. Focusing on the positive is necessary for the community. It may be discouraging for some that we may have lost but we didn't join Steem because of the contest anyways, right?
The contest victory would be a nice perk though!

    right. really good point. the contest has little bearing on our activity on steem. but what an awesome bonus it could be for the long term :)
