Minnow Support December Report and Minnowsupport Super Supporter
It’s that time of the month again where we look at the reach of the most popular program for minnows here on Steemit. @Minnowsupport
#minnowsuppport is an online community set up to help minnows get orientated on Steemit. They host contests & radio shows. They resteem and upvote content for members. If you are not yet part of minnowsupport then do head over to discord and check them out.
The aim of this post is to show you the reach the minnowsupport had in the month of December. But this reach is only the reach recorded on the blockchain and it does not include the efforts put in by the team on discord.

To analyse Minnowsupport, I use Power BI and connect to @arcange Steemsql database. For this report I have taken the data for December 2017.
Posts and Comments by @Minnowsupport
In December @minnowsupport made 21 posts and left 22162 comments on 2904 different accounts. There was a 22% increase in the number of comments left my minnowsupport. Most of these comments are just from the upvote bot.
Resteems
The number of resteems from Minnowsupport was 211 in Nov for 110 authors. This has not changed much for December with 209 resteems for 110 authors
Votes Given
The number of votes given in Nov was 22391 for 2321 authors. In December the number of votes increased by 26% to 28229. The number of authors reached also increased from 2321 to 3280 which is an increase of 41%
Minnowsupport Super Supporter
Minnowsupport relies on funding. You can fund minnowsupport by delegating power or you can simply up vote the comments left for you by @minnowsupport
Minnowsupport Super Supporter aims to acknowledge those giving back to minnowsupport by up voting the comments left for them. This is not an official Minnowsupport contest and is just done for some fun

What's the minimum that I can send to receive an upvote or my post resteemed by @minnowsupport
That's not how it works. You enroll on their discord channel and promote in their #post-promotion channel on Discord and their bots will upvote you up to twice a day.
Resteems are chosen manually based on content quality (and all upvotes are checked for quality and low quality authors are blacklisted).
Thanks @josephsavage We learn new things everyday. It's painful to sit down and design for hours for something that's not going to be seen. I will check out their Discord channel. ;-)
