Hey! There are no dumb questions :) I dont know exactly how they calculate the rewards but to give you an indication about the amount I can tell you I got like 0.5 steempower for reporting 2 people before. I guess they pay out like once a week. Good luck reporting :)
Thanks, ill look into that! I feel like Steemit could use some cleaning here and there anyways :)
