Good question! The beta bloggers are a mix of academics, local artists, past colleagues, and individuals we've met through blockchain events within NYC. Some are people we've worked with before, others are old friends, and a handful are complete strangers. Our goal is to create a very diverse mix of 15 people who have never heard of Steemit before / introduce them into the blockchain ecosystem.

By the end of this month, we aim to have around 15 practitioners and groups in the Sndbox incubator to gather a diverse array of experiences as we support their transition to this website.

Could you elaborate on this please. Are you seeking beta testers? Do you want people from specific fields, industries, or communities? For example, I have access to a networked music, generally techno oriented, community in NYC and a general Noise Performance community around the US, both of which I think might be open to using Steemit. Do you want people like me involved in beta testing or should I and others wait until you are done with beta to propose projects or what?

Thank you.

This sounds fantastic @jringo. Feel free to message us on steemit.chat @voronoi / @hansikhouse to discuss further. For right now we're all set with beta members (who are all totally new to Steemit) but we'll be seeking involvement and a new round of members within the next few weeks.
