I Want to Get to Know YOU: If you could create a new holiday, what would it be?
I would like to get to know YOU (my fellow Steemians) better, so I am posting a series of icebreaker questions, which I hope will bring some interesting comments, conversations and new friends.
Today's question:
If you could create a new holiday, what would it be?

My Answer
I think I would create a compulsory mindfulness holiday so that everyone could have the chance of creating that feeling of calmness that living in the moment can invoke. The one breath technique has worked wonders for me.
Now it's your turn.
See you in the comments.

Great idea dear @hopehuggs! And the next day we can make a holiday of happiness to achieve the greatest inner satisfaction with the conditions of ours being.
And the next day peace.
I support you!
My new holiday would be "kindness day". It would NOT be a Hallmark holiday, on this day, you would have to Do a kindness for a total stranger with no expectation of a return.
That's a great one as well. :)
I want a national tax free day. On this day you can buy anything with no sales tax. :)
Stock up on cigarettes and alcohol! No, not really. Another fantastic idea.
Haha people would buy the cartons in cases
What a cool idea to spark engagement and form friendships here on Steemit. Interesting question too... let me see...
If I were to create a new holiday, I think it would be "family day" - families don't spend enough quality time together because of work, school, pressures, technology and life in general. Family day would be a day where it would be compulsory put everything else on hold and spend GOOD QUALITY time with your loved ones. Eat home cooked food and sit around the table to eat. Play games, go for a picnic, take a walk in the forest, whatever - as long as it is real bonding time. :)
Brilliant idea. I try to make it it a habit to ask my children every night what the best thing about their day was. I get some surprising answers sometimes, not so on other nights.
Your was great.. Mine is a "Loyal Day" so that we could celebrate the holiday with loyal people around us
Beautiful idea. Celebrating with the true friends and family in our lives.
