I am definitely planning to keep my earnings here on steemit, safe in my wallet. I think HODL should be the word for next few years. We do not know - maybe even newbies like me could be early investors in the grand scheme of things.
Keep holding and working on building your little community to support and be supported from and long term I think you'll do fine.
