If you are writing original content , then wait for at least couple of days to use the upbots. That gives chance to curators to curate your post. And you can use the upbots after that.
I am new here & i was not using upbots nor selfvoting then i realized by some senior's posts that it is useful to some extent (for visibility) , but now after your reply i only used 1 upbot , first i was using more than 5 upbots for several days.
