Discovering the Undermined Gems Rewards Time Episode 1!
If this is your first time reading about my Discovering the Undermined Gems series, I will briefly walk you through what I do.
Sometimes, when I walk around the malls or eating places, I find some very ordinary people in the line of service but with very outstanding attitudes. It drives me to want to highlight them and tell about their stories in my blog. I refer them as GEMS. I would dedicate the payout I receive for the post featuring them as their tips, if their workplace allows. (For some helpers or maids here, their employers prefer not to let them have too much cash in hand, as there are many cases of some of them running away before their contract ends.) If their situations do not allow, I would buy them gifts or food as the "tips" collected from all of you who upvote my posts. Tipping is not a usual practice in my country (yet), so let's see if this can build up a wonderful trend to further reward those in the line of service!
This intention or "movement" was mainly motivated by my little philosophy of:
Whatever you do, do it wholeheartedly!
and
Open your eyes, look around and see the unnoticed!
I like to tell real-life stories anyway, so let me start telling of those who are even strangers to me!
Rewards Time!

If you have read about this dedicated cashier I met in McDonald's here named Farish, I have gone back to find him several times and finally, I got to meet him last weekend. Some of the days when I went, he was off duty. So, it actually took me some two weeks to finally meet him.
Farish was surprised when I handed him the cash of MYR102. SBD was rather low when I got my payout, it was approximately 2USD per SBD. Hence, with the payout of the post $12.63, I multiply it with 2 and multiply it with 4 (1 USD ~ MYR 4 which fluctuates too, so I rounded it up), amounting to RM101.64, rounded to MYR 102. He thanked me and chuckled a bit. After that, he professionally continued to take my orders and those behind me.
A day later, I located him again because I realized that I could have given him the link to the post featuring him. Haha. That was when I found out he is from the same hometown as me, studying in the school nearby my school! What coincidence! We couldn't chat much again due to the nature of his work.
On a second thought, I need to plan this better so I can take better pictures and know what to hand over to them.
Overall, I learn that it is not easy to actually locate my "gems" again to pass them the reward. I have been looking for the petrol station attendant which was my 2nd gem, but to no avail. So, let's just post about my 1st gem first! Wish me luck in finding back all my other gems!
Are you surrounded by people who are under rewarded too? Perhaps, do something nice to make their day too? Spreading kindness is a way of life!

I am so impressed by your determination to do something good for those people who go above and beyond to give great service. Many people are clearly under-appreciated in the service industry. You have a new follower in me. I found you through the #payitforward contest. You were featured by @hetty-rowan. Congratulations and best wishes.
What a great practice of showing kindness and highlighting goodness! The world is a better place because someone like you decides to stop, take notice and act on it :)
Thank you @alimamasstory for your kind reply. Just something I wanna do for a while.

This is my first time reading your Gems rewards @happycrazycon
I actually found this very creative and wonderful. The post deserves more rewards.
Thanks @bmotives for dropping by! Let's spread them kindness! :)
Thanks for sharing this important information with us. @happycrazycon.
You are welcome @emmanuelacheamp :)
Oh my!!! Where to begin ?? This is the most amazing thing I have come across in a while. Such a kind and noble act really!!!
May your boundaries continue to expand so you can continue to do good.
I'm very challenged and amused at the same time by your initiative.
Looking forward to many more of this @happycrazycon....nice to .meet you :)
Hahahah you are such a nice person @elsiekjay:) thank you. I initiated this because also I saw some of them got oppressed by people here. Perhaps let them know there are still sunshine and warmth around. Just very small thing I can do.
I look so forward to know you through @asapers :)
Do you tell them about the opportunity Steemit provides? It could changchange their lives further. It would be great for them to earn beyond the tips don't you think?
Such a great initiative. Daily we meet people that are capable of leaving their personal issues aside and show us professionalism and kindness or take an extra step in order to help us. Sometimes a smile is all it takes to make your day better.
Hi Lavi!!! :) thanks for coming by. Actually I do have my personal issues that always seems to weigh me down so I decided to do this initiative to focus on others instead of myself, to be reaching out instead of being introspective. As I do this, I find beauty in others :)
I agree and Steemit is a perfect opportunity for showing such kindness. Thank you for your enjoyable post. May you discover those gems! @ironshield
Thank you @ironshield for coming by. Yeah Steemit has made this initiative possible when I myself may not be financially able to do that before this.
I knew from your earlier posts that you're a warm hearted woman, but it's more ... YOU are a real GEM yourself.
I hope you have a whole lot of luck finding your 'gems' back, but I also really do hope that your 'gems' realise how happy they are that they have met you!
Love to see you here @hetty-rowan. All because we have come across each other through @qurator and I too love your posts.
Thank you very much for all those meaning and kind words. It makes me feel you too are a warm hearted and sensitive person. Looking forward to know you even more! :)
You have a great caring attitude! It's great to surprise people like that. You made his day!
Hehe thanks @dmcamera. Sometimes they go through a lot, and I wish small things like this can cheer them up. They are so undervalued.
