So I got kicked out of qurator, and it was really unfair

in #community6 years ago (edited)

Considering their stake and having witnesses involved, I believe it is important to come forward with this.

Summary.

My post | Image being used at the time

How many people visited the website the day before launch when I showed it using that image:

Official answer: censhorship threat.

Do whatever you want with this information. I'm not posting about this again.

Sort:

The fact of the matter stands. You used someone else's work without their permission, PLAGIARISM. Then after some heated discussions about it you chose to block both the mod and me (@scrooger).

We did remove you from Qurator and we will stand by it. We have a swift hand when it comes to plagiarism.

You have to understand that graphic artists takes pride in her work, they have exceptional skills and normally gets rewarded for art and creations.

When you use someones content they have reason to be upset about it. How would you feel if someone used your content without your permission?

I understand there was an argument and both parties lashed out. But they had reason to do so. Like I said, plagiarizing is a serious offense and Qurator and the team won't have it.

Yep, keep ignoring everything I've said so far and call it standing ground. Skipping logical arguments from my side is very dissuasive to third parties anyway.

they had reason to do so

Uh huh, I'm sure a qurator mod had all the reason in the world to tell me I should "quit the whining" and encourage yk into threatening to press charges against me. I got kicked out, what happened to them? I bet it was all "settled privately" so we can all assume I wasn't the only one punished for it.

Official answer: censhorship threat.

Well, at least you didn't try arguing against this.

PS:

swift hand

It took you over a day.

And this is just public disclosure of what I believe is relevant information to the blockchain. It isn't an "open letter" to @qurator nor a request to discuss the matter.

By the way,

I DID NOT PLAGIARIZE

I attributed the work to the respective author. So stop spewing that kind of bullshit. Funny how you mentioned this is the reason I got kicked out, considering I've never even done it in the first place.

for future reference

Let's not get the official reply buried beneath the spite.

To even out the flags I just gave to brumest and ewkaw, I've also upvoted their posts for the same amount. Don't forget to check their comments below, though.

Is it fair to steal images from a fellow @qurator member?

Copyright.JPG

Let's make things clear...

  • You used the image without any previous consent from the author on your website.
  • You made a post in Steem displaying that same image and with the clear intention of having monetary compensation by doing so. You even shared it in @qurator's post promotion room.
  • You refused to accept the fact that you did something wrong, to the point where you got your vocabulary level down something I never did during our conversation.
  • Not happy with only that, you chose to block me.
  • You went back to the author's DM window and gave her some more of your polite and innocent way of talking.

Among other lies and manipulation on those comments of yours you never had "Temporary image made by @ykdesign" written there... You had this:

F1.JPG

Implying that she agreed on having it there.

Lastly, you were kicked out not only because the copyright issue, everyone has the right to make mistakes and to have a second chance.
You were kicked out mainly because of your attitude towards @ykdesign, me as a moderator and even @scrooger, the project owner.

People like you are definitely not welcome in our project and don't deserve the effort our team puts up daily to keep helping our community to grow.

You're only going to reply with the exact same shit you've all done 4 times now which I've already throuhgly answered despite being ignored every time. Boooring.

Implying

That's your spiteful fucked up interpretation.

Move on with your life.

Such a shame you didn't paste the whole conversations (instead of the selective answers) you had with the author of the photo @ykdesign, @brumest and @scrooger before you blocked them.

I am sure your followers would love to see your attitude...

If you're not going to give me an invite link back to your discord so I can screenshot that shit, you can just stay quiet about it.

That's the attitude I am talking about.

Here is a little thing in case you want to edit the comment again ;)

you can just stay quiet about it

And here's a little 1% upvote to verify that comment in the blockchain so you can kiss my ass about changing shit.
