In What Ways Weku Is Better Than Steemit!!!!
As we all know weku and steemit are both Blockchain based Creative Content and Social Network Platform with Rewards. according to the whitepaper and their presented goals but the question is,is that really happening? there must be hundred of props and cons between weku and steemit but one thing that sets them miles apart in this time, at the moment is the rewarding system and the community. let me describe more.
my experience on steemit
i was not one of the most earliest adopter of steemit as i joined steemit in december 2018 so i didnt have much influence,power and connections over there. i was a really active member of steemit who commented and posted quality and real content but it always used to get ignored. up until now after working so hard there i only made 80+ steem, after 9 months of work. that isnt alot even for me for the time spent there commenting and blogging.
root problem
the root problem infecting the environment and the whole atmosphere is groupism,greediness,whales for themselves,discrimination based on power not on content,lack of willingness to support good content, whales acting high and mighty with power
steemit must have been like weku with great reward in the beginning but now the environment there has become so toxic, people struggling and fighting for upvotes in comment sections on all posts of whales but most(by most i mean almost 90%) of the whales dont give a damn about bloggers giving honest,legit opinions and comments on their post, most of them dont even read them or upvote them no matter the quality. in some cases where they upvote is like first come first serve so, even the good content with less power gets buried deep and bad content,even spam with power gets upvoted. its almost impossible to get 0.10$ on your post there if you dont have connections,group or power.sometimes crazy whales will downvote you for no reason cause they have the power to do so. i dont think i will blog on steemit ever again cause few cents aint worth my hard work and time. plus the rewards are trash or next to nothing now. the developers dont give a damn about other bloggers except whales and they are holding hundreds of thousands or millions of steem and steem power but doing nothing for the community.
how weku is better
it's the opposite of all of the root problems i have mentioned above in weku.i have been here for quite a few days and haven't seen groupism and whales head over themselves because of power. good content is actually getting upvoted, the environment is friendly,helpful, plus all of us will become whales in the future if we keep working hard unlike steemit you cannot even hope to become whale without investing now. rewards are very attractive and helpful i finally have enough power to make someone's post actually worth something. you dont have to struggle even after putting up good content and @weku has the possibility to become bigger than steemit in the near future because of these qualities, social networking means for everyone not only for those with power and weku is a social networking site at the moment and hope it will stay the same. let us all stay humble and make @weku a community which attracts people and keep them engaged so they never leave. with great power comes great responsibility us the early adopter who are given the power to change the face of weku in the future should properly use our power by which weku can go to new heights.
let weku become more than steemit but not steemit.
