one of my most favourite and cherished things to do when my sons were much younger was to attend all school function and public speaking Contests. They won a few and lost a few, but the experience has been invaluable. It gave them confidence. I always enjoyed listening to the other childrens speeches. They put their heart and souls into it. Now I am looking forward to doing this with my grandchildren.
