Today we arranged a Ifter Mahfil in our locality
Hello all,
It is probably the first time we arranged a local Ifter mahfil in our village. The young generation has a vital role in our society and they can make us united. This was an example. Today we arranged ifter for around 100 people at our local school. Our youth organization are involved in many events but when it is a special month like Ramadan, we wanted to arrange it. My brother was secretary of it for the last two years. But political force let him leave the position. He still has a position in his people heart.
My brother was giving a speech in front of the local people. A lot of young volunteers, older citizens and children joined in the program.
When the religious discussion was going on in another room, we were preparing foods in another room. To make the Akhni, the chicken went from our poultry farm. We also had other fruits, dates and sweets. But I am not allowed to take the chicken.
I was helping some of them after completing my ifter. We had a shortage of food as we did not expect so many responses. So many of us shared our ifter with others. But it was really a nice event.
I have video of the program and I will keep it for the future. Perhaps it will remind our memory and we will miss one another.
