Who was not a communist youth ... it started well!

in #communism8 years ago

There is a thought that is constantly repeated by the most admirable figures like Winston Churchill some say the quote is "who was not a communist until the twenty years has no heart, who after thirty lacks judgment." Others prefer "who was not a communist at eighteen." It does not matter; the message is clear. The spirit of youth complain the yearnings and Utopian socialism delusions. It would be natural and expect able that younger embrace this kind of stupidity, as long as then changes without its provisions and understand the limits imposed by reality.

The phrase is impact, but, taken literally, would mean a substantial loss for the efforts to build a social movement of liberal convictions, denying the potential of youth the ontological condition to participate in the process. There is no denying that, youth, binds the enthusiasm and with it, its risks; But in defense of my peers - since I am, myself, a young man - I feel the duty to point out that there is also the possible qualities.

A certain philosopher had a vision that sounded good negative youth. He said that "the young man, just to be more aggressive and have a more generous capability, is very susceptible to totalitarianism. The vocation of the young to totalitarianism, to intolerance, is huge. I recommend to young people: get old quickly, no longer young as soon as possible; this is a bad luck, unfortunate. " These statements are not, however, all the old Nelson had to say about it. He was more clear and positive when he said: "I love the youth as such. What I abhor is the young fool, young inept, writing on the walls "It is forbidden to forbid" and carries Lenin posters, Mao, Guevara and Fidel, authors of the most brutal prohibitions. "

It is evident that the man who boasted of being "anti-communist since the age of eleven" - having accomplished the rare feat of being pampered by a certain "intellectual" or left of artistic class, despite their positions frankly "reactionary" - not would seek to be so literal. I do not think it is fair to assume we are, young people sentenced to a totalitarian idiocy that only time could heal, and that enthusiasm that usually characterize this stage necessarily involves the inability to negotiate with the world instead of ardently wish to impose on it the immature their ideal images.

I want to launch here, in own interest, a manifesto, "who was not a communist until twenty to eighteen, to the eleven to ten, to the mother's belly," he BEGAN WELL! First, since we began to form our beliefs, we can and should heed the experience transmitted by older, the reality and time, without sacrificing the passion that we can move in the defense of our ideas. Who abandons altogether? It can be a good face of youthful enthusiasm, well disciplined and driven. Passion and enthusiasm are as steeds; if you do not control, they can take you to the cliff fall. If the master can help you to run to the goal, without necessarily fly toward the impossible.

I have become a dangerous example, the sectarian who left the sect, the he found a way to regain freedom, despite all the intimacies; the sympathizer who went on disliking. For they will do everything to destroy this instance, with the help of those who still consider communism only an idea and not know that it is mostly a vast, total, permanent conspiracy. Worst of all: a conspiracy to destroy consciousness.

We acted as idealists, but automated. Today, the ideal word itself, many seem confused, because what counts for them is the success. (...) They act as ventriloquists of themselves obliged to borrow ideas and even grammar adventurers and dishonest for which communism, today as yesterday fascism, is an excuse to take the public's portfolio, while the public, nose up, includes sparkling Ideology.

Not contemplate Ideology, not we the young fool that cries out for freedom in abstraction, as it brings together in groups in the streets, carrying banners that call for the slavery, the path to Serfdom. Let us be the young man who is not afraid of straying from the no-brainier collective, who dares to think, and with it, endorses a very important movement: one that can emancipate us as people, as a people and as a nation. The sooner we wake up, the better; not fail to take heart because of it.
