The ability to share your thoughts and understand another person's feelings are pertinent skills for functioning in any society in the world.
Communication is the art of passing information from one person to another. It involves two or more persons, such that one is the coder and the other the decoder. In a vast society with the diversities of human persons, it is pertinent we enhance our communication abilities so as to ignite interest in the minds of our audience.
The problem people have is how they can code their thought or feelings and relate them in such a way that will make sense to their listeners.

It is important to know that human thought can be complex at times, and difficult for an individual to understand. In such instances, how can we relate our complex ideas to others when we ourselves do not understand those thoughts...
With this, we ought to enhance our communication skill. But how then can we improve these skills? I will show you the secrets below:

HOW TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY

*Never be blind of your communication errors
As humans, we are all susceptible to errors, so while trying to air out our views, we shouldn't be abashed halting at where we made blunders and correcting them immediately.

*Carry your audience along
It is your duty to ignite the interest of your audience and ensure they on the same track with you.

*Choose your words
It is important to use simple and less cumbersome words in conveying your message. Your audience does not need to consult their dictionary at every sentence you make.

*Pay attention to your nonverbal skills
Most times, we unknowingly send non-verbal gestures to our audience, which in turn can alter our initial message. This is disastrous as we might be saying one thing while they take it for the other.

*Be aware of individual differences
With the dynamics of human persons, one should be able to adjust his communication abilities to fit with the make up of the individual he is communicating with.
Learn the art of effective communication because the manner inwhich you communicate with people can either make or mar your relationship.
