Horsemanship Jr.

Horsemanship Jr. is a horsemanship textbook for youngsters. It is fun, informative and educational. The text will be marketed in installments and could be used effectively in home-schooling, during horse camps or clinics for youngsters, or simply as a daily, weekly or monthly exercise for youngsters.

I will begin to touch on just one of the goals of this textbook here as an introduction. This first goal is teaching a youngster what is meant by communicating with a horse.

Answers to the following questions are necessary in order for a youngster to understand and accept that some form of communication is really possible between a person and a horse.

How can we communicate with a horse?
How does communicating with a horse compare to communicating with other people?
What is the definition of communication between people?
What is the definition of communication between a person and a horse?
Why is it important to communicate with your horse?
Why is it easier to communicate with a horse than with people?

These questions will all be answered in the next installment by examining a story about youngsters about your age finding themselves in a difficult situation due to lack of communication.

You will learn how a horse communicates through signals and behavior. You will learn that a horse is always consistent in his communication. You will learn how to understand your horse and most exciting of all, you will learn how to make sure that your horse understands you.
