Well, as The Onion wrote years ago, most suicide attempts are a desperate cry for death. Sounds like the poor guy was just done, and wanted to attach a footnote to the event since he couldn't come up with a better legacy.

I think this is stupidity in his part for taking such a rash decision, how has setting himself up on fire helped global warming now. I think he will still be burning now, cause he committed suicide. And that's against God's law.
