My comment on: Brexiteer Nigel Farage enters the lion's den to meet EU's chief negotiator

I don't see the point to this. As much of a famous person, THE person, as he is regarding the Brexit story, he holds no real power in the talks and everybody already knows his views on the subject.
The only reason I can think of for this meeting is publicity. For Nigel Farage it 'keeps him in there' with regard to his political standing in the media, and for Michel Barnier it will give him a platform to say he, and the EU he represents, is listening to everyone.

Brexit campaigner Nigel Farage will meet the European Union’s chief negotiator on Monday in what he said was an attempt to convey the views of 17.4 million Britons who voted to leave the bloc.
